What The Fox is passionate about quality hand-crafted, repurposed, and upcycled goods. All our products are sourced or created in New Zealand, with a focus on sustainability.

I am Kelly, owner of What The Fox. I have loved crafting all my life, and to be able to create unique things for people is so satisfying. I also love to create beautiful pieces out of junk that people would normally throw away. For example, all our concrete items are cast in moulds that were destined for the rubbish. Our twine vases are created from old glassware that is no good as it is, but with a bit of TLC they have a new life. Some of our other products are designed to reduce waste in the first place, such as our BeezWraps food wraps, which reduce the use of plastic in our kitchens. It's a great way to get more value out of our resources.

Another of my passions is science. I work in science, and I'm guilty of getting a bit nerdy from time to time. (News Flash; nerds are cool!) I try to incorporate this influence into my products, which you will see in some of our product names. I also stock beautiful items of genuine scientific glassware that are obsolete for their original purpose, but can make stunning statement pieces in your home.
